Clitoral Piercing Can Be a Unique Way to Improve Your Sex Drive and Give You Better Orgasms
Clitoral Piercing
I’ve been doing women’s adult toy parties for over 10 years and I’ve run across numerous women who have shared with me that they’ve had their clitoris pierced and that they now have the most amazing sex drives and orgasms ever! A few have even told me that they had an orgasm DURING their clitoral piercing. I, of course, wince in pain whenever a woman tells me this, but, on the other hand, I’m completely fascinated with the whole concept.
Mind you, not in a million years will I ever try it personally. There is not enough wine in the world to get me to that place (I’m way too big of a chicken). I remember getting my ears pierced when I was 14 and that was the last needle that has come near my body since.
But, since I’m in the business of female sexuality and I’ve been told that clitoral piercing has done wonders for women in the bedroom, I decided I needed to do some research and share what I learned with women who might be thinking about doing this (such brave ladies).
What Happens During Clitoral Piercing?
Apparently, the actual clitoris can be pierced as long as it’s large enough and sufficiently sticks out of the clitoral hood (which is not the case for all women). However, a very skilled piercing professional should be consulted beforehand to see if your clitoris is suitable. This is not something you want to bargain-shop for. Get the best person you can find to do the consultation and the actual piercing. There is a risk of nerve damage if it’s not done correctly or if it’s done to a clitoris that is not suitable for piercing in the first place. This nerve damage can make you lose all your sensation and sexual function permanently.
The more popular and safer version of clitoral piercing is done to the ”hood” of the clitoris which is the fold of skin that covers the top of the clitoris. This piercing can cause the actual clitoris to become larger (for some women three times its normal size). Apparently this type of clitoral piercing is fairly easy to perform, is much safer, and provides more intense sexual sensations. The reason for this extra stimulation during sex is because of the location that the piercing ball ring or barbell ultimately ends up. The clitoral hood is usually pierced vertically (although some people go horizontal) and the barbell is placed so that it sits precisely on the top of the clitoris. The pressure it puts on the clitoris during stimulation is what gives women the desired effect of having better orgasms.
Enhanced Sexual Sensations From Clitoral Piercing
The clitoris is actually the female version of the penis. The penis and clitoris are both made of “erectile tissue” that contains hundreds upon hundreds of nerve endings. Both have a part to them called the “Glans”. On a clitoris this Glans is behind the clitoral tip and is the most sensitive part of the entire clitoral area. This is the area that the piercing “jewelry” comes in contact with during sex. It’s placed in the clitoral hood to put direct pressure on the Glans which, as a result, produces orgasms.
It also can increase genital sensitivity in some women. Women who have never been able to orgasm at all have had clitoral piercing done and then apparently turned into orgasm machines! For some women it provides subtle, constant stimulation which has greatly improved their sex drives (which makes for happy partners). Other women say that receiving oral sex is 100 times better because their clitoris is more sensitive. Apparently women are having huge benefits from clitoral piercing! Who knew?
Healing and Care of Your Clitoral Piercing
The estimated healing time is 4-6 weeks and the area should be taken care of correctly to avoid infection and other problems. Cleanliness is very important (always wash your hands before touching the pierced area). Twice daily salt soaks in saline solution are recommended to speed up the healing process.
When you shower, use a very small amount of liquid germicidal soap to clean the area and then rinse it off well. After soaking or cleaning the clitoral area, dry it well (but gently) with gauze or tissue. If, for some reason, the area doesn’t heal correctly, make sure you seek out a health care professional who is experienced and familiar with body piercings.
Conclusion
Again, a part of me is curious and would like to see what it’s all about but I’ll probably never work up the courage. But for those ladies who have done it, more power to them! They’re probably having way more fun than I am and I think I’m jealous (smile).
